Please note that
special reports are required when lobbying for State money, when lobbying
before the State Gaming Commission and when the source of funding
for lobbying efforts meets certain conditions.
IMPORTANT
– A Lobbyist Statement of Registration does not automatically terminate
at the end of the agreement. Section 1-g of the Lobbying Act requires
written notification from both the lobbyist and the client within
thirty (30) days after the lobbyist ceases lobbying activity. However,
if the termination of retainer, employment, or designation takes effect
at the end of the biennial registration cycle, termination is not
required.

** All registered lobbyists must file periodic reports; if the threshold
expenditure is not met during any one period, then the Clerk's Office
must be notified of this fact by letter or by filing a periodic report
which provides information to this effect.
