The Honorable William C. Thompson,
Jr.
New York City Comptroller
was our luncheon guest
at VINE, located at 25 Broad
Street on
March 21,2002.
Comptroller Thompson
proved to be a very entertaining speaker. Drawing on his experience
teaching young children, he compared the City's fiscal situation to
Aesop's tale on the ants and the grasshopper (the simile actually
worked)! The Comptroller graciously fielded questions from all in
attendance. On another note, we extend our compliments to Vine - the
food and hospitality were great!"
